Our Commitment to Safety

The safety of our customers and employees is Avanti’s top priority. We are closely monitoring the information provided on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking actions based on guidance from public health experts.
We are sure many of you have specific questions about what Avanti’s is doing to protect our customers and employees from the virus. We want to share what we are doing to keep everyone as safe as possible:

Many of you have become part of our family over the past 49 years and we consider you family and friends. Please know we will be here to serve whether it is dine-in, carry out, delivery or catering. We will continue to respond to the latest on COVID-19 with employee and customer safety top-of- mind. Our team is continually monitoring the situation.
Governor Pritzker has ordered the closure of in-person dining at restaurants and bars in Illinois, effective at close of business Monday, March 16 until Monday, April 30. Delivery, drive-thru, and curbside pickup options will be allowed, but dining in is not permitted during this temporary shutdown.
Effective 9pm Monday March 16 thru April 30 Avanti’s of Bloomington-Normal will cease all dine in operations. Carry out and delivery will be available with the following stipulations.
The state of Illinois is expected to issue guidelines and FAQs today regarding the two week closure of on-premise dining at restaurants. This is an unprecedented, fluid situation that is changing rapidly.
Avanti's is looking forward to receiving clear guidelines from the state about what will be permitted at Illinois restaurants regarding delivery, carry out/take out and curbside pickup. We will adjust our policy and procedures accordingly and share this information as soon as it becomes available.

Because this is a rapidly changing situation, we are staying informed through updates from the following official sources: Sincerely,
Rich Zeller and Marcus Zeller
